The Speaker of the National Assembly of Pakistan, Ayaz Sadiq, has said on the issue of the alleged arrest of PTI members from the Parliament premises yesterday that the disrespect of the Parliament is not acceptable and the arrested MPs should be released immediately.
He said that I will issue the production orders of the arrested members and the matter will be investigated.
Speaker National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq has summoned IG Islamabad over this incident and reprimanded him.
Earlier, during the session of the National Assembly on Tuesday, he had announced to take action on this issue and said that ‘the law and the constitution must be respected, we have to take the incident of the previous day seriously.’
Speaker Ayaz Sadiq said, “If necessary, I will file an FIR against those who take such action.”
He said that ‘on what happened yesterday, we have ordered the footage of all the entrance doors of the Parliament so that we can determine those responsible.
It should be remembered that last day PTI that the members of the assembly were allegedly arrested by the Islamabad police from the premises of the parliament.
It should be noted that according to the law and regulations, no member can be arrested from the premises of the Parliament of Pakistan without the permission of the Speaker of the National Assembly.
PTI claims that after the arrest of Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Barrister Gohar and MNA Sher Afzal Marwat, the Islamabad Police arrested Tehreek-e-Insaf leaders Sheikh Waqas Akram and Zain Qureshi from the back door of the Cabinet Division of Parliament. Aamir Dogar, Owais, Ahmed Chatta, Shah Ahad, Naseem Ali Shah and Yusuf Khan were also detained while PTI’s Member of National Assembly from Waziristan Zubair Khan was also arrested outside the Parliament.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Member of Parliament Ali Muhammad Khan, while addressing the National Assembly session on Wednesday, strongly condemned the incident of the previous day and said that ‘an attack on the Parliament is an attack on Pakistan.
Speaking in the National Assembly on Tuesday, Ali Muhammad Khan said that “whoever stormed the Parliament last night, from where the order came from, if Article 6 is to be applied, then apply it to them, it should be applied to them.”
He further said that ‘this has never happened in history when PTI members were taken away from Parliament.’
Ali Muhammad Khan reportedly termed the arrests from the Parliament premises as an ‘attack on Pakistan’ and said, ‘If the attack on Jinnah House was an attack on Pakistan, then is the attack on Parliament not an attack on Pakistan? Is the attack on the Parliament not an attack on the Constitution?’
He further said that ‘last night our leaders were picked up from the parliament house, mosque and chamber, what happened last night was May 9 of Pakistan’s democracy, which should be remembered as a dark chapter in the history of Pakistan. will.’
He said that ‘I am not fighting the case of Imran Khan, today my case is about democracy, what happened last night, happened with the Parliament, Mr. Speaker, we are not in Israel, we are in Pakistan.’
He said that ‘last night the members of parliament took shelter with you in this house, they were hiding to find shelter, then Maulana Naseem Sahib who took shelter in the mosque was also taken away.’

On Monday night, the Islamabad police arrested several leaders, including Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf Chairman Barrister Gohar, allegedly from the Parliament premises.
